what for spend all your free time working for your ambitions?

she's a 15-year-old pianist who goes around the country performing. she practises 8 hours a day.

let's count. school should take about 5 hours, that's 13 hours of the day gone. let's add in 8 hours of sleep. that's 3 hours left for fun, socialising and study. and i believe she'd use that 3 hours to study.

so, that's fun and socialising gone.

you're so caught up with ensuring success, you end up neglecting the people who love and care about you. you're just going to end up alone.

when you're alone, you'll realise that success, glory, that status, it doesn't matter anymore. it's all meaningless.

and it's even more so if you neglect God, or if you don't listen to Him all through your life.

in the end, it's not your status or your wealth that people remember. it's what you've done for them that leaves the greatest impression on people. in the end, it's just between you and God.

if you choose to spend all your life working for yourself, you'll realise that it'll all just be meaningless in the end.
